Real bride - Penny

I met the beautiful Penny at a wedding fayre in the February and she told me she was getting married in May, and just couldn’t find the dress she had envisioned in her mind. She pictured herself in a floral gown with colour cascading through the skirt and sleeves. She had seen the beautiful Ellie’s dress that Id made previously and also the Lily dress (collection 2024) so we got a consultation booked in and got to work asap.

We used the consultation appointment to look through fabrics together, and try on the Lily dress as a base for the design, we loved the V neckline and backline on Penny but decided on a softer flutter sleeve.

From here I could draw up the final design drawings and get sewing! We were working on quite a short time scale but it was so lovely to see the dress come to life so fast and hear about Pennys wedding plans coming together at each fitting.

Penny had the most beautiful beach side wedding with stunning florals by Fille and Fleur that complimented her dress so perfectly and the photography by Patois Photography t0 capture the day.
