About me.

Hey, I’m Kezia,

lover of sunshine, sandy beaches, piña coladas and of course bridal fashion.

My journey into the bridal world started with my degree in Costume Construction where I received a first class honours from the Arts University Bournemouth. I went on to work in theatre costume for some truly incredible productions. My journey took me behind the scenes at the Birmingham Royal Ballet, The Royal Opera House, Wicked, and most recently, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

While the whirlwind of the west end was an amazing one, the pandemic forced me to slow down and re-think. I gained some invaluable experience with a high end bridal seamstress whilst still in London and then made the move to Guernsey. Where I have since founded Sew Guernsey, my bridal alterations business and continued to grow The Boho Bride, creating gorgeous bespoke gowns and veils for brides both on and off the island.

My look-books / collections act as a starting point or inspiration, but there’s a real magic in collaborating with a bride to bring her vision to life. The beauty of bespoke design lies in connection. Every gown begins with conversation — understanding her ideas, refining the details, and creating something that captures her personality perfectly. Seeing the excitement and emotion as a design takes shape is such a joy. Every bespoke gown becomes a collaboration, a creative journey we take together, and the result is always something unique, personal, and full of heart.
